Greeting from the Public Relations
Committee!!! Just wanted to send out a
reminder to bring those fantastic
Scrapbooks and your submission for the
Media Coverage and our special "Beacon
Award" with you to State Conference.
Submissions must be
turned in at Registration on Friday
afternoon. Submissions cannot
be turned in on Saturday morning as
judging will need to be completed Friday
evening.
- SCRAPBOOKS
Scrapbooks will be judged on creative
expression of the year's events. LO
name and year should appear on the first
page. A page identifying all the LO
officers should also be included.
Newspaper clippings must be dated and
complete information concerning the
event should be included. Photographs
should identify all person.
- MEDIA COVERAGE
- Media coverage awards will be given to
the LO that best demonstrates promotion
of BPW throughout the year. Submission
should include newspaper clippings,
radio or TV scripts and other media or
public relations. Submissions should be
securely bound.
- BEACON AWARD
- to the Local who is most creative,
original and informative in their public
relations. Locals may submit a summary
no more than 250 words of their
activities to "shine the light" of the
many benefits of BPW membership. Copies
of newsprint or radio broadcast may be
included with entry. No more than 5
additional sheets with summary please.
