The ERA is not dead, but it does require the grass roots swell to move forward in a limited time.

The Speaker of the House is planning on ending this legislation session by March 30.  If that is the case, we need to get momentum from all of the ERA supporters.  There is little time left.

This includes:
  • Contacting your legislators and letting them know you support the ERA and you want them to vote for it
  • Signing on to the on-line petition located at the web site: http://www.4era.org/petition_ARK.asp
The AR petitioners list will be taken to Lindsley with copies for each committee member.  We will have one list in alpha order and line list in zip code order.  Each committee member will get a copy of both.  We will include a cover sheet explaining that these XXXX (we need as many as possible) number of people signed the petition and a copy of the web page will be included.

The Governor and each Constitutional Officer has endorsed the Equal Rights Amendment for Arkansas.  Let's remind our legislators.

Don't give up the good fight.

Alice Paul said:  "When you put your hand to the plow, you can't put it down until you get to the end of the row. "
We haven't made it to the end of the row.

Please contact your legislators, the committee members, and please sign the on-line petition
