The Issues Management Committee will recognize local organizations who demonstrate that they have "Stepped Up and Stepped Out with BPW" during the 2006-2007 year.

The following awards will be presented at the 2007 BPWIAR State Convention in two categories: local organizations with fewer than 30 members and local organizations with 30 members or more. Membership will be based on the number of members as of May 31, 2006.

HIGH STEPPERS AWARD
Best overall programming for the year.

 BOOT YOUR OWN HORN AWARD
Best single program that received
the most media attention.

 HEART AND SOLE AWARD
Best program designed to
recruit new members.

 Entries must be submitted by April 15,

Each entry must include a cover sheet which includes the following information: Name of local organization, number of members as of 513112006, name and contact information for local organization president and issues' management chair, and the name of the award being sought. Documentation should include a description of the

program(s) and other information appropriate to each award, such as proof of media coverage for the "Boot Your Own Horn" award, proof of number of new members recruited for the "Heart and Sole Award", or printed programs for the year for the "Highsteppers Award".
