Friday, February 24                Expect to Win!

           9:00 a.m.—3:00 p.m. (Lunch break on your own, noon—1:00)

             Holiday Inn Presidential Conference Center

             600 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR  72202

Are you ready to run for office?  What skills, resources and plans are necessary?  Volunteers, how can you get involved?  Is there work beyond stuffing envelopes?  We’ll cover the basics of deciding to run, fundraising, campaign planning and messaging for candidates as well as show volunteers how to maximize their efforts.

Workshop Presenter:  Ilana Goldman, Washington, D.C.

Ms. Goldman is president of WCF (formerly the Women’s Campaign Fund), the nation’s only nonpartisan organization dedicated to growing the number of pro-choice women in public office.  Over the years, WCF has provided thousands of women with the skills and support to be effective candidates and officeholders, as well as provided training to thousands of women wanting to work in campaigns.  Many of these women are now at the highest echelons of government service.
